Disc Overlap Prevents Direct Entry of Projectiles While Allowing Natural Voice Transmission

 

With  two levels of protection {Level 1 and Level 3 } and a clear field of vision.

The unit is easy to install. Just drill a six inch (152 millimeter) diameter hole in the bullet resistant window, surrounded by three 5/16 inch (8 millimeter) holes spaced at 120º on a 7-1/2 inch (190 millimeter) diameter (template included).

Then secure the 10 inch (254 millimeters) Acrylic or Lexgard Disc using the Stainless Steel Studs provided with the unit.

The space between the window and disc allow for clear voice transmission.

 The 10 inch (254 millimeter) disc provides enough overlap to prevent direct entry of projectiles.

HOW TO INSTALL...

Installation of the TTU-1A is a very simple, one-person operation. All that's needed is a 3- to 4-in. cut out in the barrier (window)

Four fasteners and two rubber gaskets for mounting are supplied. Specify barrier thickness when ordering.

The front face and housing are easily mounted on opposite sides of the barrier using the fasteners.

The rubber gaskets prevent slippage and protect the barrier surface. The electronic section is then inserted into the housing and fastened in place.

The SPTTU-1AB - Bullet Resistant Talk-Thru Communicator with noise reduction

 incorporates circuitry to automatically attenuate the outside channel.

 If the gooseneck microphone is not used for a period of 30 seconds, the outside channel volume will be reduced approximately 70%.

Normal operation is restored as soon as the attendant speaks into the gooseneck microphone.

The automatic volume attenuation circuit prevents outside noise from bothering the attendant.

 Installation of the TRANSACTION TALK THRU UNIT-SPTTU7  is a simple, one person operation.
